Where can I obtain the information of the game rules and how they are played?
We have put together some basic information on popular types of games so that you will be able to start enjoying our room straight away. You can find this located at our Poker Games page. Please be aware these are the basics and are enough to get started, however should you wish to further your knowledge we recommend investing in some of the many excellent poker books available on the market today.
How do I join a game?
In the Lobby you can view all the various types of games ranging from cash tables, to sit'n'gos and scheduled tournaments (these are the multi-table tournaments). Simply click on the menu of your desired poker game, and then select from the sub-menus. To register for a tournament simply click on the register button, to take a seat at a cash table simply click on the empty seat.
If my table window shuts down during play, how to get back in?
If you are disconnected from a running tournament it probably means your internet connection to our server has disconnected. To resume the tournament simply restart the software and your table should come up automatically. If it does not then go to the menu and click on the tournament and then join table.
How does a new Cash Game start?
As soon as two active players are seated at the table, the game will start. Anyone who has been marked as "away from the table" is considered inactive.
Can I play at more than one table at the same time?
Yes, it is possible to play at several tables at the same time. When it is time to act at a table it will "pop-up" in front of the others. Playing at two or more tables is only recommended for more experienced players. Please make sure that you are not slowing down the games for the other players as well as missing important hands.
Can I change seats in a poker game?
The only way to do this is to first leave the table and then come back. Please note that you will be treated as new player and if there are players on the Waiting List you may not be able to join the game straight away.
Can I review old hands that have been played?
Yes, you can review your hand history from both cash table play and tournaments; this is available within your account options once you are logged in.
Can I change my password and Player ID?
No. Once you have set your player nickname and password there is no option to change them so we suggest choosing your player name carefully and making sure you keep your password written down in a secure place. You can set the software to auto-login each time, meaning you won't have to type in your name/player ID and password each time.
What are ipoints and how do I use them?
At WinPoker we reward players with iPoints every time they sit at a table and are actively involved (i.e. they have posted their blinds for that particular cycle). You do not even have to be in the hand to receive the iPoints. We also award these for every tournament that you enter (with the exception of freerolls) For more information see the VIP Section of our website.

How do I withdraw funds from my WinPoker account?

If you have made deposits by Credit Card you will be refunded up to the same amount deposited on your card, we will always credit whichever method of payment that was made to use the deposit. For more information about other ways to withdraw money can be found in the Withdrawals section.
What happens if I get disconnected while playing?
As we all know the internet is not perfect. Occasionally players will be disconnected for various reasons. If you get disconnected during play the software will attempt to reconnect you automatically and return you back to your seat. Usually you will only be disconnected for a short while and may be back in time to act. Since you sometimes may have problems at your end we recommend our players to have alternate forms of connection where possible if one goes down. Please note that some of our tables do not offer disconnection protection (No DP Tables).
What happens if I have a hand and cannot return back in time to act?
If you do not return in time, your hand will automatically be folded if you have not put any money in the pot. If you have invested money in the pot you may be treated as all-in under certain circumstances. It is only possible to become artificially all-in in Fixed Limit and Spread Limit games (not in PL , ½PL and NL games) and only in cash games. All players will be granted a finite number of all-in protections per 24 hours.
On Fun Money tables your hand will be folded if you do not act in time, no matter the circumstances.
Why is my client unable to connect to the server?
It could be your firewall that is causing the problem. Please check your firewall settings are permitting the client to connect to the servers. Aditionally we recommend contacting your ISP support to ensure that communications between our client are active.
